Risk Racing Athlete, Richard Bird “Blitzed” another holeshot on his way to collecting the Championship leaders “Red Number plate “ at Round six of the Northern Ireland MX2 Motocross series last Saturday. A questionable passing manoeuvre by a fellow competitor left the GOMX KTM “up-side down “within sight of the chequered flag. Ricky remounted to claim second position.
Another lightening start in the second moto set the scene for an epic battle at the front of the pack; unfortunately a mechanical gremlin caused the Orange machine to loose power intermittingly, which meant Richard was unable to clear many of the massive jumps around the Donamana circuit.
With Two Rounds remaining, this Championship is set for an explosive finish.

Risk Racing Europe supported racer, Natalie Kane, capitalised on her best starts of the season, taking a brilliant pair of 3rd place finishes in the Swedish GP.
On what was one of the toughest circuits in the World, the young Irish Lass is a "class act" her efforts elevated herself to 4th position in the World Standings with only one round remaining.

Natalie, is a two times British Woman's Motocross Champion, and is currently running 6th in the World Championship points table, recently recording her first podium in the GP of Germany.
